Static Tear Film Voltage Tester is mainly used to test the determination of the voltage value when the protective film is torn.

Together with the lightweight and compact electrostatic field meter, locate and measure the electrostatic charge on any surface. It is easy to carry in a pocket size and the 4 operating buttons are easy to use. Static voltage can be measured within ± 30 kV at a distance of 1 inch and the results are displayed simultaneously on a digital and bar graph. 4 buttons - POWER power on/off, ZERO zero adjustment, MODE operating mode, and HOLD data lockout. the HOLD button allows the LCD display to be locked out and the data saved, which is very useful especially when the measurement location is difficult to read the data. Two LEDs make up the distance measuring lamp to confirm the correct measuring distance, and the conductive encapsulated housing and grounding clasp allow connection to a working ground point for more accurate measurements. Its circuitry is designed to operate under ionic airflow and the measurement range is ±30 kV over a standard 1" distance, with results displayed simultaneously on a digital and bicolour bar graph, along with an indication of battery status. Power on/off, zero adjustment, ion balance operating mode, and data lock are all push-button operated, and the HOLD button allows data to be locked and saved, which is useful when data is difficult to read in the measurement position.
