Dongguan’s delegation to this centralized event is headed by Chen Zhiwu, director of the city’s Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. After open registration, selection within the city, and the provincial competition registration system submission and review, the final body of 29 players and 26 referees from 6 units will participate in 25 centralized events. Among them, 22 teachers and students from the City Technical College will compete in 19 events. In the decentralized events, the Dongguan delegation won 18 awards (2 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze, and 11 merits), including 14 from the College of Technicians (1 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze, and 9 merits) and 1 gold from the Dongguan Electricity Supply Bureau. It is worth mentioning that the Dongguan delegation will represent Guangdong Province in the 2nd National Vocational Skills Competition to be held in Tianjin in September this year for two selected projects of the national competition, namely baking and power system operation, and maintenance.
